Code of Conduct – Athletes

Procedure

The code of conduct is developed to promote a safe and positive environment for all of our participants and members.  This is done by laying out our expectations of Players to ensure everyone is held equally accountable for their behaviour.  As Well as to ensure everyone is treated respectfully and fairly.

Accountability

This Code of Conduct and Ethics will be reviewed and signed by:

  • Coaches: at the start of each season.

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action or removal from the program. 

Responsibilities

  • Remain respectful towards all coaches, staff, players, spectators, other teams and referees.
  • Promote a positive attitude and sportsmanship.
  • Refrain from any and all acts of bullying or harassment. (Defined as anything offensive, abusive, racist, sexist, degrading, or malicious)
    • Including but not limited to verbal, physical, cyber acts/comments.
  • Refrain from any and all forms of violence.
  • Show up to practise, regularly, on time, and prepared.
  • Participate at the best of your abilities.
  • Remain positive and support fellow teammates in every situation.

Code of Conduct – Parents

Purpose 

The code of conduct is developed to promote a safe and positive environment for all of our participants and members.  This is done by laying out our expectations of all parents/guardians to ensure everyone is held equally accountable for their behaviour.  As Well as to ensure everyone is treated respectfully and fairly.

This Code of Conduct and Ethics will be reviewed and signed by: 

  • Coaches: at the start of each season.

Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action or removal of your child from the program. 

Responsibilities

  • Remain respectful towards all players, coaches, spectators, staff, referees, and teams whilst encouraging the same behaviour from your children.
  • Promoting positive sportsmanship.
  • Refrain from committing acts of harassment or bullying. (Defined as anything offensive, abusive, racist, sexist, degrading, or malicious)
    • Including but not limited to verbal, physical, cyber acts/comments.
  • Refrain from any and all forms of violence.
  • Communicate with coaches and referee liaisons in a respectful manner.
  • Ensure children have safe transport to and from practice, games and any other events.
  • Encourage your children to refrain from harassment, bullying, and violence of any form.
  • maintain a positive environment and attitude at all times.

Respect the ability of officials and referees to make decisions.

Refund Policy

PURPOSE

 â€¢ To provide a timeline to when and if a refund is available. 

POLICY

All refunds must be requested in writing or by email before they will be processed. 

The following refund schedule will apply: 

 â€¢ A $25  Administration fee will be deducted from ALL refunds processed after session 1 

• Withdrawal before first session  – full refund less $25 

• Withdrawal within 7 days after first session  – 50% refund  

• Withdrawal greater than 7 days after first session  – NO REFUND • 

Exceptions will be on medical grounds only. 

APPLICABILTY 

• This policy applies to all players registered with Parkland Fusion FC 

PROCESS 

• Parent/Guardian of player must give notice in writing or by email, with explanation of why they will no longer be attending sessions. The refund process will begin immediately.
