Discover Our Development Centre
Parkland Fusion Fc are delighted to announce that we are launching our Parkland Fusion development centre.
We have identified our core goals and values we now wish to bring to our youth players as we help them grow along the long term player development pathway.
To do this we have created the Development centre which will focus on our educational aspects of the game to deliver the best grassroots development system for our club and program.
We have appointed a technical team of experienced coaches to deliver the following under this new section of our club. Under this initiative we will have our regular club program which is teams and game based regular training and delivery. Under our Development centre we will now focus our energy to grow the following areas :
Coach Education
Our team will now strive to deliver a new era of educated young coaches to help deliver more programming and elevate our on field coaching needs . We have implemented our new coach education pathway for young coaches which will follow the Canada soccer model with a hands on work-like environment to create the Fusion way of playing and coaching. We will strive to have our young coaches experienced and learning from our existing coaching staff to help deliver more on-field top level grassroots coaching .
The development centre will also deliver on further education with our Skillz school where we will offer extra soccer sessions in a small intimate environment so each child receives excellent coach delivery by a Parkland Fusion trained coach .
Rising Stars Program
We will include our Rising stars program to the development centre in which our long term goal will be for all our u 4 , u 5 and u 7 trained by our in-house Parkland Fusion team .
We are working on a u 4 to u 17 Parkland Fusion pathway where at each age level we will have criteria for each age of player development .
Player Assessment
Under the parkland fusion fc development centre every registered player will be assessed seasonally at the beginning and end to show each paying parent how their child has progressed using pre and post assessment criteria created by our technical team we will begin this delivery for spring 2026.
She Plays Program
Looking for a soccer program for your young female athlete? Welcome to the She Plays program delivered by Parkland Fusion FC.
Our program is being developed to help elevate female athletes to the best they can become. This begins at u 4 and leads to, we hope, a long term career in the game and a coaching role in the future.
Our She Plays program is lead by our dedicated She Plays Director who’s role is to empower every young player to achieve a level of soccer that when “ She plays “ she is confident , educated , skilled and most importantly enjoying her environment.
Our She Plays program will also promote our “She Coaches “ program where we are dedicated to growing , encouraging and empowering our next top level coaches educated on our “ Fusion way “ program following Canada soccer grassroots pathways .
At Fusion we encourage all young girls that “ She Plays “ and falls in love with our sport
Our Vision is Clear.
Under the development centre we have begun the long term investment in A,B and C licence certification for our more advanced coaches. This is a long term investment and a financial investment in building a club ethos that will leave a long term legacy in the region of experienced high level coaching.
Our vision is clear we want to deliver the best environment at each and every session for our club players to learn , achieve , excel and most importantly continually develop.
This is a long term vision and will be a exciting road for us to see this grow and flourish in the years to come.
